About me

Hello, my name is Anthony Phillips.  My major is in telecommunication management, which is a really big word for I want to be the head nerd of a company.  I have lived in several states because of my father’s employment with the United States Air-force.  Out of all those places however, I would like to think I come from Mountain Home, Idaho.  Though I only lived there for two years, I have fallen in love with that community more so than any other.  It is a community of people that truly care for one another, and are willing to help their neighbors in any time of need.  That community changed me more as a person than almost any other event in my life, and so when asked where I come from I always say Mountain Home.  Now to get back to my major, I first became interested in computers during my stay at Mountain Home.  I have followed that simple Microsoft spread sheet class with two years of college level software and hardware courses.  I actually host a gaming server out of my bedroom back home, and find my classes here on my major to be some of the most interesting I have ever had the pleasure of taking.  Official lifestyle aside, I also tend to be a therapist of sorts for more individuals then I would care to count.  As those two items have taken up the better part of my last few years, romanticism aside, I have not had time for much else.   Though it is a personal hobby of mine to also spend time at the gun range by Morrison with a few presents my family has provided me.  I hope to increase my collection in the coming years.  With my word count accomplished for this entry, I bid you all a pleasant day.

  1. The fact that you have so much experience with computers is amazing since you're only a freshman. One day you will be the head nerd at the company!

  3. Very cool Anthony(Tech). I am the dude sitting right in front of you. Mountain Home, Idaho sounds like the perfect town. If I go to Idaho I will definitely consider visiting there if I travel to Idaho. Last semester I was even thinking about taking a couple Telecommunications Courses. I actually am still interested. Maybe next semester I can take a couple classes. What games do you play? Let me know.

  4. Mountain Home sounds like a lovely community. I have never lived in such a town. I have experienced community within my friend circles and with fellow jamband music fans, but not from a real town. Very cool! How do you feel about writing?
